I knew you would love this post TC ;D ;D As for you danf, as long as your not a Pats fans, you're OK. I've got enough friends that are knuckleheads Pat fans Truth is, thanks to your head coach laying down, we (the Steelers) are not in the mix. He messed up a lot of things by doing that I hate to say it but that move just might come back and bit them in the rear .....or at least I'm hoping it does ;D danf, I'll have a special hole drilled at the cook out just for you ;D I wouldn't drill it all the way through and then punch a small hole in the the bottom so it fills up with water. We'll all watch to see how long it takes the southern guy to catch a fish ;D ;D

that move just might come back and bit them in the rear I hate to admit it, but past history may prove that right. The year they won the Super Bowl, they couldn't afford to rest the starters. I don't remember for sure what year it was (they started 11-0), but they sent the starters out for the first series and they were done. Whoops, lost first playoff game. At least this year the starters have played the first half of the "thrown" games. As for Sunday, if the game was in Baltimore and not in Indy, I'd give the Colts a 50-50 chance. BUT, since it's in Indy I'll be a bit more confident and say they are going to win but it'll be a close one. San Diego is what really worries me. I'm not a huge Colts fan, but I do like to see them do well. If for no other reason than to piss off the Pat's fans. ;D ;D To quote a former co-worker of mine, "this ain't my first rodeo". You may have more ice than I'm used to, but for the last 7 years I had a pond right out the back door.

If for no other reason than to piss off the Pat's fans. ;D ;D Oh man! You're racking up the brownie points with me now. I like you ;D ;D To quote a former co-worker of mine, "this ain't my first rodeo". You may have more ice than I'm used to, but for the last 7 years I had a pond right out the back door. I'd like to see Chargers and Vikings for the Super Bowl. Once the game starts, I'd love Bret to play his age get a serious beat down into retirement for good. Poor old Rivers needs a career boost for all his hard work He's a good QB and all long as we're out of it, he deserves a shot at the big show.

Somebody say "Saint's"?? Did I forget to tell ya'll I'm a BOILERMAKER by birth?? ;D ;D Saints/Colts Super Bowl would be fine by me. Not sure who I'd root for- the Colts winning it for my home state or Brees winning it coming from my alma mater. If one makes it and the other doesn't, you know who I'll be rooting for!

Somebody say "Saint's"?? No! Ooops...looks like Ken did ;D I say Chargers for Rivers and Rivers only. Plus their the only AFC team left in it I'd want to see win it. I never like Turner from his days coaching the Deadskins...I mean Redskins

OK to get this post back to something Thunderchicken will appreciate, I'm posting up a real quarterback. One that will and can bring his team the whole way down field for a touchdown and not rely on a good kicker to get it done

;D Yeah but in what era did most of those numbers come from? the Spy-Gate era Bill has ruined any creditability of the rings, players and what the team could ever accomplish. Now NE England fans might not think but it has and that's just the way it and the way it will go down in history...a dark cloud over every player. Since his practices came out, what has the Pats or Brady really done? And please from this season, don't count playing (and running up the score) teams like the Titans or Tampa (without a win up to that game) as a big accomplishment. That was like the varsity team playing in the special Olympics.

Our offensive line is long in the tooth and can't protect Brady like they used to...I expect some O-line pick ups this year, by draft or free agency. They went 11-5 last year and missed the play-offs, went 10-6 this year and won the division. Maybe if the Pittsburgh varsity team didn't lose to special olympic teams like Cleveland, Kansas City and Oakland, they would have made the play-offs this year. If I look at NFL records, Belichik is the only coach to win 3 superbowls...I didn't see any asteriks Look again Ken ...Bill Walsh 3, Joe Gibbs 3 and Chuck Noll with 4! As for the * that's because the NFL wants to hide and forget about spy-gate is was such an embarrassment Back to those QB numbers, if the Steelers were not a running offense, I'm sure Ben would have better numbers. Now seeing their leaning toward the aerial game more, be watching for his numbers increase You bring up this season looses to Cleveland, Kansas and Oakland, well we’ll take a page from the NE Patriots excuse book (Brady's out that why we didn't make it) as for why the Steelers lost those games and others. We were missing Lawrence Timmons most of the season (returned for the last three games), Troy Polamalu (played in two games) and Aaron Smith (the whole season). Three major players (not just one player) of our defense was out. We'll get back the #1 defense when we're healthy and fix that problem If Colts & Pats didn't lay down (yes, against Houston) the playoff picture would have been a lot different We might not have been in there with great winning record or seated very hight but if there were ever a team to win as the 6th seed....it's the Steelers
