Apparently VT and PA have wild breeding populations...maybe NH will get added to the list, I sure would like to get one. I wrote to F&G in MA because there was one hit by a car last year off of Rt. 2 and nobody seems to know where it came from. I wanted to know what the laws were concerning non-native species, but no one got back to me. I'm going to have to call and bug the crap out of someone.

I got the word from NH F&G that official policy is that the pigs are private property of Corbin Park and your supposed to get permission from the park manager who always gives permission as Corbin Park is responsible for any damage the pigs may cause. You still need a hunting license and no night hunting allowed. Unofficially, Corbin Park wants all escapees shot so they wont get sued for property damage and such, so in essence you can hunt em and nobody gonna say nothing. And Getsome, I didnt mention anything, just told em a few of the guys in the office were tossing it around and wondering

I wish theyd spread around and breed some but it dont seem likely theyve been escaping for a long time and dont seem to move very far geographically speaking.
