Anyone else notice Wally-World has cut about 80% of their hunting supplies? Even in Concord and N Conway - the two last stores I know of that still carry guns. Last year, every store had a huge inventory of black powder stuff, clothes, scents, shampoos, etc. This year nothing to very little.

They carry more paintball stuff then real hunting stuff.....the concord store has carried limbsavers in size small for the past 4 years....i told the manager that they needed medium or large as small was to .....small.....so 2 years later i noticed they now have 2 mediums...unreal they have no clue on the seasons or needs of NH hunters.....and their customer service SUXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX....they have no blackpowder stuff left and only had a very small amount to begin with.

Saw nothing but about 35 turkeys 5 gobblers, a few Jakes, a few hens and a lot Jenny's in three different flocks. Now if I had the bow chasing turkeys I probably would have seen four or five deer with a couple of decent bucks! All out of range of course I scared the larger flock off and they re-grouped about 150 yards behind me only to start feeding within 30 yards of me. Scared them off again and they did it again this time staying about 50 yards away from me. I couldn't take their boldness or their scratching so I got up and left the area. They did not run or scatter when I got up to leave either. It was one of those days that I should have just stayed in bed

Well today was pretty much the same minus all the turkeys. Well I did call in a button buck in the last hour and half of light. Wind died down to nothing and the woods was very quiet except for a couple of chipmunks. Hit the call three times and within seconds had something running down the logging road towards my stand. He stopped about 20 yards away and was looking everywhere for what he just heard calling. He finally walked off behind me and I got a couple of phone camera pics of him. It’s hard to see so I added arrows to help see him. In the first pic he's no more than 17 yards from me I wonder what was up yesterday and today. Not a lot of shooting going on and I sure did see a lot of hunters out. Told masshntr I think I heard more bird hunters shooting than smoke poles going off.

I need the put up a ladder stand this afternoon so I just cleaned out the back of my truck today to make room for my four wheeler If someone had the balls to drop my tailgate yesterday or this morning, they would now be the proud owners of a miter saw, circular saw, compressor, trim gun, several hand tools, a new in box ground blind and a Lone Wolf tree stand

I was at Wildlife Sports Sunday around noon. They said they'd been non-stop checkins since 8. While I was there 3 spike/3 pointers came in.

My cousin and I hunted down in area K. A few shots first day and even fewer Sunday. Only deer we saw was a doe that came out just at dark. It was dead calm. I had my Game Ear in and didn't even hear squirrels working the leaves. Just at dark a guy came out of the woods and passed us at 10 yards. We had orange on and he never saw us. Walked straight to where that doe was standing and on to his truck... we just chuckled. I told my cousin, "We've just been Stapled!" ;D
