Someone told me there is a new "how to be a trapper" course being given in Concord this month. Has anyone seen any details on this?

No, but I would be interested in taking a trapping course to learn about animal ID and fur care.

I emailed the NHTA asking that question. Maybe someone there might know and get back with me soon. When I hear something I'll post what they said.

The current course in Concord is an introductory course, not the certification course....you can check at the F&G web site and/or call the number there for the certification classes. I signed up for the last class...studied the considerable material.....was taking the day off to attend...called to confirm...found out the class had already occurred...the F&G person had written the wrong date/month on the paperwork given to me...GRRRRRRRRRRRRR....now im waitng again for a class within 200 miles!

The class is listed in the current Hawkeye paper.

Saw the ad in Hawkeye too. Yes, this is a "how to trap" course, not the certification course.
Even the hunter safety courses you have to travel. We had to go 60 miles each way every day for my son's HS course last year.
