I was looking at the NH F&G site under small game season dates, I noticed it had a section for Bobcat.
It says closed but it has never had a section for Bobcat before.
Any rumor about if NH will have a Bobcat season? I just found it odd that the listed Bobcat in the dates and season area.

We use to have a fair number around where I grew up, youd find their kills now and then and sometimes the hounds would jump on one and run it.

I watched one swim across the Ompompanusuc river in Thetford VT last year while goose hunting. I would love to get one mounted someday. Can't wait to see your pics

I've got a buddy that trapped a monster cat (43 pounds) in a conibear trap last year and he had to hand it over to F&G. We asked the CO if there would ever be a season on them. He said that there are more and more cats being seen every year, so there may be a season on them in the coming years. I'll post the picture of this cat in the coming days, the size of it will blow you away. Col. Jeff Gray said it is the second largest cat he's ever seen in NH. F&G is getting it mounted and will be using it for educational purposes. Did you find those pics yet??
