Yesterday, I wanted to be outdoors and do some writing, so I took my laptop and took off for a drive, wound up sitting on the edge of one of my favorite hunting/cornfield places...I have a mobile desk that hangs on my steering wheel to hold my laptop, so I am writing away, getting a nice breeze, birds singing, sipping a BK 20 oz turbo coffee...I take a little break from my 11 words a minute cruising typing speed....looking around and notice a reddish brown spot about 20 yards max on the edge of the field in front of my M/V. I look closer and there is a very small woodchuck, or ground grizzly as they are known in the hometown, munching away. Never one to let an opportunity pass, I grab my ruger mk111, pop the clip out, put 3 shells in the clip, take my keys out of the ignition to avoid that irritating damn beeping noise, I ease the door open, swing my feet out, get out behind the door, quietly put the clip in, seat a round, scopes on 2 power, i lean over the door, the grizzly is a bit further out in the field...i go into shooting stance...pop the safety off....getting on him with the crosshairs....and..........THE LITTLE SOB SPRINTS INTO THE HEDGE ROW........thats hunting right?........ ...
