I am getting tired of staying up until midnight watching the games. Been a Cs fan forever. Glad they won #17 Don't know if Pierce is a thug, but he certainly is the best overall player on the team and deserves the MVP.

I'm not blowing smoke here my friends, I was only a basketball fan back when Jordan rules the court. Once he was gone, basketball was never the same for me. I'm still not a big fan but was cheering them on because I hate the Laker's and Kobe. People compare him to Jordan and he even believe he's better but the fact is.....he's not even close Not on or off the court! Anyone hear his post game interview after Boston came back to beat them in game 4? He was asked, "what do they do after a defeat like that?" His reply was, "lots of wine, beer and a lot of shots! Then hit the practice in the morning and try to regroup". Great response Kobe..........fix your teams failure and a serious ass whipping with booze Way to go Boston Celtics Now on the down side to this post and Boston winning the NBA title I've been noticing vehicles and what people have been wearing pertaining to the Boston Celtics for the last three years. Well, actually ever since they made the playoffs and beat Philly only to get knock out the next round. Three years ago right? I saw nothing but now that they won, I bet you'll see a lot of gear and vehicle stickers riding around here soon. I also don't doubt for the next several months I'll be hearing from a bunch of people saying they been Celtics fans since birth When I run into them I'll have to tell them the Celtic ship is full The last part isn't for Rob & Ken! As sad as it is and I don't understand why but I don't doubt your loyalty to Boston teams

I would have to agree with you there Tom. I have cheered the big green since I was a kid and it was an awesome run back in the late 70's and early 80's when that white boy from Indiana came into the league. Bird, McHale, Parish, ML Carr, Tiny Archabal, Cornbread Maxwell, Dennis Johnson, those were the stars. The rivalry between Bird, Dr. J, and Magic was incredible. It was always one of those 3 teams winning the title back then. But none compare to MJ. He was truly an amazing athlete and brought life back into the NBA when Bird and Magic retired. Kobe is good, but not an MJ.
As far as a Boston fan, for me it's only the Celtics. I hate the Bruins (Montreal fan). I don't really follow baseball, and like the Rams (when they where in LA, then Anaheim, now St Louis) - I know, not much to cheer about lately . . .
