Thats great to see there are a few of us around. Just to let some of you know what I've been up to lately.I have been corresponding with a native stickbow shooter in Fort Simpson NWT. He whats to start an archery club up there for the kids.Money is tight up in those native communites and he was looking for donations of archery equip. 30# range for the kids.Over on the tradgang.com response has been great.I suggested they make some long bows and get the kids involved. He went to the school got the principal and shop teacher involved and it looks like a go. I have sent up some instructional material and supplies. I'm very excited to be involved with such a great endeaver and just wanted to share this with you all. Glen

Another recurve shooter here. Mine is a Martin TD Hunter that I bought back in '91. Never taken a deer with it but...I once hit a pheasant that my dog had pointed. Never could do it again...but for that one flying bird hit I was hooked. I'd love to have that on video now.

I shot one a few years ago Well...it was more like a sapling & not really a stick. Oh you meant stick bow I use to shoot a Super Diablo about 10 years ago. I tried shooting both a compound & recurve but the compound won I keep thinking about taking it back up again. It was a lot of fun There was several guys on here shooting them but I haven't seen them in a while.
