I was thinking about trading in my savage weather warrior 16fls in 270wsm for the same rifle in .243.I have another .270wsm (brow. micro hunter) which is my main deer rifle but was thinking of getting the .243 for yotes and it would back up my deer rifle. any thoughts on this. Thanks Bill

The 243 is a good Deer rifle and will work well on coyotes as long as you aren't saveing the fur.

The .243 is a nice deer and preditor weapon. It should serve you nicely.

Like we talked about WJSMALL, the .243 is a great round but your not gonna save the fur on the yote after you get him with that round!!! but if you get a .243 and slap a nice scope on it then it should be really nice. you have to let me shoot it or else!!! heehee C U

.243 is also a very accurate round. Texas rangers use it (or at least they used to) for their choice in sniper rifles.
