vdt, my stomping grounds are in the middle of orleans county. i use both mouth calls and foxpro to call in the predators. i also have various bait piles to get them in an area and hold them there. when you say south of the queen city, do you mean shelburne? are you hunting the burb's or farmland? i worked in underhill this summer, and saw alot of coyote sign, but couldn't find a place to hunt them. congrat's on your kill ! are you a caller or houndsmen?

I live in Shelburne but we do our hunting in Hinesburg. Went out this morning but missed the S.O.B when he went by me doing about 150 miles an hour.... I hunt them both ways but just got into actually calling too them. Its a blast with hounds!! Benn running with these guys about 8 years now.

I'd move there if I could find a decent piece of land with reasonable taxes.. My brothers wife's family are Vermonters going back to the 1600s. Dairy farmers. My wife's family came over on the Mayflower (Hopkins) and they've been in VT since the 1600s too. Don't know how we wound up in NH
