Looking for some advice here on sheds my hunting bud and I have. We have the big sheds from the MA Archery Record buck taken this past Oct. Our set of sheds were found in May 04 and Oct 04. They're basically an exact replica, down to the curves in each tine. Someone told us today that Cabelas, LL Bean, etc would pay big bucks for them so they can post on some random deer head for their stores. Does anyone know how true that is? If it's big bucks (dinero), I keep thinking of the new coyote rig I could buy with the doe. I mean dough. Unreal the puns in that sentence...didn't even mean to do it. (Bucks/Doe) Anyhow, anybody ever hear of that?

Yes they do purchase sheds. They advertise at times in the back of hunting mags. It would probably be easier to call one of the stores. I don't think there's alot of money in it. I believe they pay by the pound.

They do sell them by the pound. I checked it out once and figured it wasn't worth the time and effort I put into looking to sell them.

I would wait.
If it is an official record, I would then see what the guy who shot it does. If someone like Cabelas bought it they may be worth alot more if sold to the person or company with the mount.
Even more so with my second home, um I mean Cabelas going into hooksett!!!!
